EST BBQ started in Northampton in 2024. Behind it is Cristin Botnari, pasionat de grătare (passionate about the grill), and a simple idea: the grills, skewers and recipes of Eastern Europe should be easy to get hold of in the UK.
“Est” means east. It’s where the food comes from: mici and frigărui, shashlik on long skewers, plov from the kazan. And it’s how we cook, over real charcoal, with tools made for it.
